Welcome to Bud Carson Middle School home of the Huskies. We serve approximately 720 students in grades six through eight. We provide a high quality educational program for all students. We are committed to academic excellence, we utilize state of the art technology, and we provide a rigorous standards based curriculum.

At Bud Carson Middle School, we embrace the challenge to have each and every child reach his or her fullest potential. We are focused on academic excellence, outstanding citizenship, and physical fitness. We have on-going conversations regarding curriculum, instruction, and effective strategies. We consistently self reflect to better meet the needs of all students.  We are passionate about teaching and learning.  

At BCMS we provide a positive academic and professional climate where ideas grow and solutions are found. We develop leaders. We implement policies that are progressive, consistent and fair. We share an attitude of trust and patience.

BCMS makes every effort to create a positive school climate. Service learning opportunities are provided for all students. Students are rewarded monthly as well as at the trimester for an outstanding job academically and behaviorally. Bud Carson uses a Positive Behavior Intervention Support program to keep students engaged in learning. 

Keeping students safe is a priority at BCMS. Students wear uniforms as productive members of the Bud Carson family. Parents are informed by phone or mailing if their child does not meet the daily standard attire, attendance, and behavior requirements. The school works closely with families to provide support so that all students can adhere to all of the school's policies.
