Hawthorne School District’s Review Board 14 was named a 2024 Model School Attendance Review Board by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond.

Three teachers from the Hawthorne School District were honored at the Southwest SELPA Awards for their contributions to the growth of students with special needs. The ceremony featured a Bud Carson Middle School student speaker and student-led audio-visual team, who filmed and photographed the event.

BCMS joins Hawthorne Middle School and Prairie Vista Middle School, along with only 16 new California Schools to Watch, with the prestigious designation and recognition of excellence.
